Bengaluru : City police on Monday conducted raids on the houses of two celebrities and a businessman in three different locations in connection with a drug case.
Raids were conducted on the houses of DJ Vachan Chinnappa, businessman Bharat and actress Sonia Agarwal, after getting leads from the mobile phone of drug peddler Thomas, police sources said.
Thomas is a Nigerian national and was arrested on August 12 for possessing drugs worth Rs 1.50 lakh at his HBR layout house.
Sonia and other two individuals allegedly have links with the Nigerian drug peddler, sources said.
During the raids, police found 40 grams of marijuana from Sonia’s apartment and another 50 grams of marijuana from Chinnappa’s house, they said.
Bharat, according to sources, was holding drug parties in his flat along with film celebrities and other prominent individuals.
All the three have been taken to respective police stations and are being interrogated.
