Baramulla, Apr 14 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered charas in this north Kashmir district, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
He said on a tip off police established a naka checking at Vizer mode Kreeri in Baramulla during which two suspected were challenged.
During the search of two suspected persons identified as Aadil Ahmad Rather, resident of Azad Colony Wagoora and Khalid Ahmad Bhat resident of Allapora Vizer, 250 grams of charas like substance was recovered.
He said both the accused have been booked under NDPS Act and investigation is going on for further leads.
Spokesman said that 17 drug peddlers have been arrested this month and the crackdown against Drug menace will continue.
