Odisha MLAs Meet Prez

Bhubaneswar : A delegation of Odisha MLAs led by Assembly Speaker Bikram Keshari Arukha met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhawan here on Wednesday. T h e l e g i s l a t o r s congratulated Murmu, daughter of Odisha, on her election to the highest constitutional post in the country. They also felicitated Murmu and presented her with a picture of Lord J a g a n n a t h a n d o t h e r souvenirs from the State. They held a discussion with the President about the development of Odisha. Murmu assured to extend all s u p p o r t a s p e r t h e constitutional provisions. She also thanked Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for supporting her in the Presidential election.
