NUAPADA/KHARIAR ROAD :- As per the direction of Samar Bilash Behera District & Sessions  Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), compensation amount of rupees One Lakh was awarded to a minor sexual assault survivor under the State Victim Compensation Scheme.The case was heard by Sunil Kumar Das, the Additional District & Sessions Judge and POCSO Court Judge of Nuapada, who had recommended the interim relief for the minor victim under the provisions of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.
As per the said recommendation, DLSA Secretary Navneeta Dash handed over the amount of rupees one lakh to the minor victim and advised her to utilize the financial assistance wisely for the welfare of her and her one and half year old child.
