Murmu in Pondy to campaign

Puducherry, July 2 (Dumani Mail) National Democratic Alliance (NDA) presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu arrived here on Saturday to seek support in the upcoming presidential election.

Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy and BJP state President V Saminathan received Murmu as she landed in the city. She then reached a hotel and addressed a close-door meeting.

N R Congress and BJP ministers and legislators besides leaders of the AIADMK attended the meeting. Union Ministers L Murugan and V Muralidharan accompanied Murmu.
