New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday spoke to chief ministers of several states over the COVID-19 crisis, official sources said here.
As per the official sources, Mr Modi had a discussion with the chief ministers of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Jharkhand over the current situation in their states and the steps they are taking to control the virulent second wave of COVID-19.
The Prime Minister also discussed the ongoing vaccination programme with the chief ministers as per the sources and asked them to spread more awareness of vaccination among the masses.
Mr Modi also spoke to Lt Governor of Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Puducherry over the OVID-19 and took note of the situation, the sources added.
