January 17 A Public Holiday

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has declared January 17 a public holiday on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the Sri mandir Parikrama project. The inauguration of the  Sri mandir Parikrama project will be held with religious fervour and enthusiasm. This project will be a unique visit to Odia Asmita. In view of the fact that the devotees of
Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannath, the Lord of the world and adorable deity and the symbol of religious harmony, can happily participate in this programme and pray to the Lord, the Chief Minister has declared January 17 an official holiday. All government offices, schools and colleges of the state will be closed on January 17.
