Aurangabad : Aurangabad Police have registered 13 First Information Reports (FIRs) against the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) workers and organisers of Union Minister Dr Bhagwat Karad’s ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ for alleged violation of COVID norms during the ‘Yatra’.
The newly inducted ministers in the Union Cabinet are carrying out these tours across the country to reach out to people.
Union Minister of State for Finance Dr Bhagwat Karad on Friday interacted with the people of Aurangabad during the ‘Jana Aashirwad Yatra’. He informed people about the various schemes of the central government.
During the ‘yatra’, BJP activists and local people allegedly gathered in a large number without wearing masks or maintaining social distancing.
His ‘Jana Aashirwad Yatra’ was started on August 16 from Beed district of Marathwada region and concluded last night at Kannad. He covered six districts of Marathwada region during his ‘yatra’.
