Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday met his Nepalese counterpart Narayan Khadka on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC meet in Colombo and discussed taking forward the Ramayana circuit amid other things. “Good to meet … Khadka… Discussed cooperation in connectivity, energy, fertilizers, health and power. Agreed to focus on taking forward the Ramayan circuit,” Jaishankar tweeted. Jaishankar is in Colombo to take part in the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC). The meeting comes ahead of Nepal Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s visit to India from April 1-3 when he will also visit Varanasi.
