Hyderabad: Telangana Minister K T Rama Rao assured that the IT industry will be expanded to all four sides of the Hyderabad city. Speaking after laying the foundation stone for Genpact at Uppal here on Sunday, the IT and Industry Minister said that an action plan has been formulated to provide employment to one lakh people in Hyderabad East. It will be fulfilled once Genpact is completed, he said. Keeping in view the development of Hyderabad East, Silpharam was set up at Nagole, the Minister said that an International Cricket Stadium was also situated in the area. Mr Rao said that the construction of SkyWalk from Uppal to Narapalli is underway. Hyderabad East is also developing on par with Hyderabad West, he said. Several IT developers also came forward to construct IT Parks in Hyderabad East and assured to extend all possible help to the private developers, Mr Rao added. The Minister also expressed his gratitude to Genpact management for expanding its footprint in Warangal too.
