I&PR Dept Holds Preparatory Meeting on State-Level Celebrations of Republic Day

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department on Monday held a preparatory meeting regarding the state-level celebrations of 74th Republic Day. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of I&PR Deptartment Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar Singh. Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal will be attend the celebrations as chief guest and unfurl the National Flag in the presence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Stating that the Republic Day assumes greater significance for every Indian, the I&PR Principal Secretary urged the officials to make advance preparations for the celebrations of this important Day. The Department will make arrangements for live broadcasting of the state level Republic Day celebrations on electronic and social media. Like the previous year, the Republic Day will be celebrated by the Department in New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai. I&PR Department Director Indramani Tripathy and other officials were present in the meeting.
