IOCL Paradip Refinery conducted Level III Offsite Emergency Drill

Paradip,: The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) , Paradip Refinery conducted a Level III Offsite Emergency Drill
aimed at assessing the emergency preparedness of the Refinery for incidents affecting areas beyond its boundaries with it’s Stake holders and Mutual aid Industries, to combat any disaster like situation. The drill was executed in line with the approved Emergency Response and Disaster Management Plan (ERDMP) of Paradip Refinery. Mr BR Malik, CGM (H,S &E),
Paradip Refinery chaired the debriefing session in presence of IOCL Paradip Refinery Management. Mr SR Kar, ASP, Paradip, witnessed the mock drill along with representative of DM Office. NDRF team, Mutual Aid Partners M/s PPL, M/s IFFCO, M/s PPA, PHBPL and State Fire Services with IOCL Paradip Refinery fire services team participated in the Mock drill. The Scenario envisaged oil leak resulting in oil spillage in Santa Creek. Response and control measures were taken
as per the protocols of Emergency Response and Disaster Management Plan and were well coordinated.
