The chief minister had left for New Delhi on Tuesday. The current visit of the Chief Minister to the national capital has assumed significance as the party has been unable to form government in spite of winning 20 seats in the assembly elections. It is being speculated that rift between Dr Sawant and former health minister Vishwajit Rane is reason behind the delay. However, party state president Sadanand Shet Tanavade has denied it.
