Gajapati Surakhya Mancha(GSM) team met with him & submitted a chartered demand for Upgradation of station & other facilities. Among them to continue Fast Passenger 58427/58428 Palasa – Gunupur – Palasa , halting of Rajyarani Express 18117/18118, plying from Rourkela to Gunupur & vice versa at Kashinagar station, extension of Palasa- Bhubaneswar- Palasa 18443/ 18444 to Paralakhemundi, Gunupur- Theruvalli extension, to Paraminimum amenities like drinking water
supply, toilets for both male & female, extension of height of platform. Among them MLA KNarayan Rao; Convenor of GSM, Basant Kumar Panda & other members of committee were present. DRM assured to take up the matter.
