Mumbai, June 23 (Dumanimail) BJP MLAs on Thursday met former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis here to chalk out a strategy in the wake of Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde’s revolt against Chief Minister and party President Uddhav Thackeray.
According to news reports, there are a total of 42 MLAs with Shinde who are camping in Assam.
Shinde shared a video in which the 42 MLAs are seen in a Guwahati hotel raising slogans hailing Bal Thackeray and Shinde. Shinde insisted that he had not left the Shiv Sena.
On Wednesday, Uddhav Thackeray said that even if one of his party MLAs asked him to resign, he would quit immediately.
