Hamirpur/Shimla : The Election Commission of India announced the date for holding of bye elections for Mandi Lok Sabha seat and three assembly seats of Himachal Pradesh namely Jubbal- Kotkhai, Fatehpur and Arki, here on Tuesday.
As per the notification issued by the Commission, the elections for these seats would be held on October 30.
The filling of nomination papers will start on October 1 and will continue till October 8.
The scrutiny of the nomination papers will be held on October 11 and the withdrawal of papers will be held on October 13.
The polling will be held on October 30 and the counting of the votes will take place on November 2nd.
Meanwhile, in wake of the announcement made by the Election Commission, the state government has imposed a Model Code of Conduct in the whole of or part of the areas where elections are scheduled to be held.
