Pune : Enforcement Directorate ( ED) on Thursday conducted a raid at the house of Jagdish Kadam, a close aide and cousin of Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar.
Daund Sugar factory of which Kadam is the director is around 50 kilometers from Pune.
The income tax department had carried raids at owners of a few sugar factories and two houses of Ajit Pawar’s sisters a few days ago.
The searches of Kadam’s house was still on, sources said, adding that the ED team will also go to Baramati later in the day which is home town of Ajit Pawar.
