EC withdraws appointment of Sonu Sood as Punjab icon

Chandigarh: The ElectionCommission has withdrawn the appointmentof actor Sonu Sood as state icon for Punjab.
Giving details here on Friday, Punjab ChiefElectoral Officer (CEO) S Karuna Rajuconfirmed the poll panel has withdrawn theBollywood actor’s appointment on January 4.
