Raipur: A record 2,828 fresh novel coronavirus infections were reported over the past 24 hours in Chhattisgarh following analysis of 44,773 samples even as three fatalities occurred here during the period while 46 individuals recuperated.
Health Department sources said that the active cases number 9,684 and the positivity rate touched 6.32 per cent. The district-wise break-up of new sufferers includes Raipur 899, Raigarh364, Durg 293, Bilaspur 279, Korba 268, Jashpur 153, Janjgir-Champa 142, Rajnandgaon 60,Koriya 58, Surguja 52 and Sukma 34.
