NUAPADA/KHARIAR ROAD, March 13 : A meeting of District Level Advisory Committee (DLAC) on food safety was held under the Chairmanship of Collector Madhusudan Dash at the Conference Hall of Collectorate Nuapada on Wednesday. At the outset, collector took a comprehensive review of the functioning and achievement of the food safety department with regard to public health. He emphasized the need for inspection squard to monitor and curb the sale of unhealthy and expired food products. Food Safety Officer Nuapada Krishna Priya Sahu said, regular inspection of joint enforcement team will be done in whole district. Those who have no food licence will be imposed fine. Pending cases will be disposed as soon as possible. The meeting was attended by CDMO Dr.Dharanidhar Senapati, I/c CDAO Satya Bhushan Nag, DEO Karunakar Bhue, DSWO Sangeeta Patro, General Manager DIC Samir Muduli, DPD, ATMA Samaptika Kar, ACSO Thanduram Nayak and other officials.
