Khordha,: District Administration will organise employment fair in the district from February-14.Collector Khordha, Mr. Chanchala Rana chaired a meeting in connection with district level job fair held at OSWAN, hall collectorate, khordha. The job fair will be held on -14.02.2025 at 11.00 AM at P.N.Autonomous College, Khordha, with an aim to providing jobs to youths. The fair will provide employment opportunities in various sectors including IT, Health Care, Automobile, Security
Services, Microfinance, Manufacturing, Marketing & hospitality for both technical & non-technical trade. Collector, Mr.
Rana said ” The employment fair is a part of govt. efforts to provide jobs to the youths. We are committed to creating
employment opportunities & promoting skill development for youths. Several leading private sectors companies will participate in the fair.He urged all eligible youths to participate in the fair & take advantage of the employment opportunities
available”. The collector Mr.Rana given the responsibility to all the BDOs of the district to create awarness & disseminate
publicity through loud speakers. The health dept. has been advised to provide health services to the youths those who are
participating in the job fair & the fire dept.has been advised to provide fire safety services in the venue of the job fair. District
Information & Public Relations Officers( DI & PRO) khordha have been entrusted with the responsibility of dissemination of
information through different print & electronics media. The Asst. Director ( Employment) BBSR, have been entrusted with
the responsibility of smooth conduct of the program. The meeting was attended by Zilla Parishad,Chief Development & Executive Officer, Khordha, Joyti Shankar Sahu, Asst. Director (Employment) BBSR, Bijaya Kumar Patra, BDO, Khordha, Mrs. Khirabdi Tanaya Sahu & others official’s.
