Dhruv Negi shocks second seed Tanweer Ahmad

Chandigarh: Dhruv Negi of Uttarakhand surprised second seed Tanweer Ahmad of Bihar whomhe beat by 21-10 21-10 in the boys under-17 pre-quarter-final of the the 1st Ashwani Gupta Memorial All IndiaSub Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament-2022.
In his next match at the Tau Devi Lal Sports Complex, Negi will aim to book a berth in the semi-final.
Dhruv will next play Bharath Latheesh of Keaala who defeated Abhishek Kanapala of Telangana 21-10 17-2121-9.
Top seed Sanskar Saraswat of Rajasthan and third seed Numair Shaik also moved into the quarter-finalround. Saraswat defeated Yashdeep Gogoi 21-14 21-13 and Shaik beat Rounak Chouhan 16-21 21-19 22-20,
