Demand for Vande Bharat Express to Koraput

Koraput : The demand for Vande Bharat Express Train to Koraput District of Odisha was known to be reiterated on Thursday by the members of Utkal Samilen. Vande Bharat Express, known for its speed, comfort and advanced technology aiming to provide a balance between speed, safety and passenger comfort has reportedly been
demanded for koraput District.A letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given on Thursday by the vicepresident Rajendra Gouda, Utkal Samilen, Koraput and Bala Ray, the state member of the Samilen to DCM and ADRM, of Vishakhapatnam Railway Division. Similar demand for the expansion of Vande Bharat Express from Visakhapatnam to Koraput District was reportedly learnt to be demanded before the Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan during his visit to Koraput. It was learnt that there are presently five Vande Bharat Express Trains rendering services to Odisha and the one that makes to and fro from Bhubanesware to Visakhapatnam halting for about 4 hours at Visakhapatnam and 6 hours at Bhubaneswar could be
extended to Koraput District of Odisha through Araku by utilising the halting time.
There is only one Hirakhand Express Train rendering services for the people of koraput District for Bhubaneswar, which is highly pressurized, thus the demand for Vande Bharat Express Train to Koraput was reportedly learnt to be genuine and legitimate as
stated by thousands of People here in this tribal dominated Koraput District of Odisha.
