Aama Odisha Launched in Gajapati District

Paralakhemundi: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated Gajapati district under Aamo Odisha scheme virtually along with Kandhamal & Angul districts. Each panchayat will be sanctioned Rs 50 lakhs. This amount can be leveraged for modernization & culture upgradation. So upgradation of temples, educational institutions,tourists complex, bridge, road construction, religious shrines. People will participate to bring transparency of the projects portraying a successful achievement of “Naveen Odisha”. He quipped that people will see new ‘Akankhi Odisha’ with new map of new Odisha, where upgradation of educational institutions, culture specifically Jagannath Culture to be restored. Brotherhood & integrity will be the parameter to bring unique togetherness. For upgradation of Cheligada project Rs 10 crores sanctioned. This will facilitate for fruits processing & vegetables upgradation, tribal park, rural market complex, upgradation of Lord Siv Temple of Cheligada. At Mankaddian & other waterfalls will be upgraded. This will attract more visitors. For Jirango Budhist Temple Rs 2.68 crores sanctioned. It has been proposed for construction of 3 ST hostels & 2 ST girls hostels where Rs. 18 crores sanctioned. Similarly at Gumma block one degree college & higher secondary school will be opened. For Paralakhemundi constituency for 14 projects ?78.82 sanctioned.At Paralakhemundi for byepass road 54 crores sanctioned. Upgradation of 3 ponds have been taken. Similarly long demand of Sanskruti Bhawan, upgradation of Town Hall, upgradation of various schools & colleges with overall beautification of other aligned projects. Overall for 33 projects 124.06 crores sanctioned for Gajapati district. On this occasion MP Chandrasekhar Sahu & other district officers were present. At last all Collectors of 3 districts conveyed vote of thanks respectively.
