New Delhi: Bollywood iscelebrating Durga Puja with muchfervour. From stylish ethnic picksto elaborated pandals, celebritieshave kick-started the festivities inall grandeur. On Saturday, veteranactor Anupam Kher attended theMBCA Durgotsav in Mumbai’sAndheri with his mother DulariKher. The elaborate Durga pujapandal was organised by playbacksinger Kumar Sanu. Anupam Khershared a series of pictures thatbegin with Dulari Kher seeking theblessings of Goddess Durga bytouching the feet of the massiveidol. In the next click, AnupamKher and Dulari Kher are seenposing with Kumar Sanu. For theoccasion, Anupam Kher picked anivory-hued kurta pyjama and hismother was seen in a blue printedsaree. Kumar Sanu wore printed silkkurta pyjamas. Sharing thepictures, Anupam Kher wrote inHindi, “Maa aur Mata! Jai Ma!”Before Anupam Kher, veteranactor Dharmendra also visited
Kumar Sanu’s Durgotsav. In avideo, Kumar Sanu can be seenwelcoming Dharmendra at theentrance of the Durga Puja pandal.The 87-year-old actor was seencutting the ribbon at the pandal.This time Kumar Sanu was dressedin an embroidered white kurta witha matching jacket. Dharmendrawore a white shirt with blacktrousers with a matching cap.Along with the video, Kumar Sanuwrote, “Pujo with Dharamji.”Kajol also immersed herself inthe Durga Puja festivities. Theactress attended the festivities atNorth Bombay Sarbojanin’s DurgaPuja on Friday. For the occasion,Kajol looked her ethnic best. Shewore a yellow saree and matchedit with a red blouse. In the videos,making rounds on the internet, theactress was seen chatting with herfamily members and posing forpics with her friends and relatives.This year, the nine-day-longDurga Puja festival began onOctober 15 and will end on October24. The festivities will culminateon Dussehra.
