Aurangabad BJP activists celebrate party’s win 3 RS seats

Aurangabad, June 11(UNI) Buoyed by the party’s impressive win in three Rajya Sabha seats out of six from Maharashtra on Saturday, BJP activists celebrated the victory with a ‘jallosh’ (happiness) in front of the party’s office at Osmanpura locality, here on Saturday.

The BJP performed well in this election even though they managed to garner less number of opposition and independent votes, much to the dismay of the Mahavikas Agadhi government led parties particularly the Shiv Sena whose candidate Sanjay Pawar lost the election .

BJP activists, led by city chief Sanjay Kenekar, danced to the beats of dhols and burst crackers while raising slogans like ’BJP zindabad’ and ‘PM Narendra Modi zindabad’ and anti MVA government slogans. They also distributed sweets to passers-by.

Talking to media during the Jallosh Kenekar credit the people of the state for this win.

He also accused MVA leaders like Sanjay Raut and senior leader Chandrakant Khaire among others for begging for votes from their traditional opponents AIMIM for MVA candidates in this election who respect the Mughal king Auranzeb.

Those who won on behalf of the BJP are Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Anil Bonde and Dhansnjay Mahadik.

While for the MVA Prafullah Patel, Sanjay Raut and Imran Pratapgaddi were the winners.
