Amit Shah to kick off election campaigning from Varanasi today

Varanasi : With an eye on the upcoming elections in 2022, Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Varanasi on Friday. He is expected to reach Varanasi this evening.

This is Amit Shah’s second visit to Uttar Pradesh within two weeks after Lucknow. Shah’s two day visit will especially focus on giving directions to the party workers regarding campaign strategy in view of the upcoming the Uttar Pradesh elections.

The meeting will take place with the office bearers of 98 districts in Uttar Pradesh’s organizational meeting of BJP in Varanasi will last for two sessions.

Amit Shah will brainstorm campaigning strategies for the upcoming elections, with the district presidents, district in-charges, in-charges of all 403 Vidhan Sabhas and regional presidents, regional in-charges of six regions of the state, and all 98 districts of Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party.

Yogi Adityanath, State in-charge Radha Mohan Singh, in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, State President Swatantra Dev Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Dr. Dinesh Sharma, State General Secretary Organization Sunil Bansal will also be present at the session. This meeting is going to be held in Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On the arrival of Home Minister Amit Shah in Varanasi, 5000 flags are being raised from the airport to the venue to welcome him. Varanasi city is being decorated with 1000 hoardings to welcome the Home Minister. Amit Shah will also visit Azamgarh after Banaras.
