GST Raid on Mani Munna Variety Store

Nuapada/Khariar Road: A team led by DeputyCommissioner EnforcementDepartment CT & GST raided onMani Munna Variety Store locatedat Udyanbandh in NuapadaDistrict Wednesday.GST fraud of lakhs of rupeeshas been detected. Manyimportant documents have beenseized by the enforcement team.Due to continuation of the raid it
is known how much GST fraud has been happened. It will beknown only after completion ofinvestigation, said DeputyCommissioner EnforcementDepartment CT & GSTPriyabrata Gadatia. Sri Jaya RamSahoo is the owner of the
Hardware store. Huge quantity ofstock of hardware goods havebeen detected in the businesspremises which has been seizedby the Enforcement team forrealisation of revenue against thisfraud. Investigation is under
process.GST officials are examiningthe account books, tax statementin the store to detect anydiscrepancies in the tax. The teamwould also check the stock andrelevant documents on paymentof taxes. It is to be noted GSTfrauds are also going in KhariarRoad and Nuapada town.
