Trailer JCC General body meeting held at Paradip

Paradip : – A general body meeting of the Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) comprising Paradip Trailer and Gas Tanker Owners Association, Paradip Trailer Owners Association and Prakruti Container Carrier Owners Association was held on Friday at the Port Club premises in Paradip.
        The meeting was presided over by  JCC member Prakash Kumar Jena and was attended by JCC Chairman Prakash Tripathy. Shri Tripathy said that while truck transport has reduced significantly, the demand for container cargo at Paradip Port has increased. In view of this, trailer traders will benefit greatly in the coming days.
        He also informed and advised the vehicle owners to maintain unity among themselves to achieve their interests. JCC member Tushar Kant Bhoi informed the meeting about the hike in vehicle fares due to the ongoing war in the Middle East and the increase in oil prices. Nagendra Kumar Rout, treasurer of the committee, presented the annual income and expenditure report. Similarly, member Manoj Kumar Swain appealed to work with the spirit of brotherhood.Among others,officials from the three Association, Alok Ranjan Dash, Srikant Kumar Samal, Arikshit Majhi, Arun Kumar Mangaraj, Satyajit Pradhan, Asutosh Swain, Niranjan Behera, Jayaprakash Swain, Ravi Narayan Pradhan were present on the stage.Finally, JCC member Karmeshwar Swain proposed the vote of thanks.
