Deoghar, Apr 17 (UNI) An average voter turnout of 76.61 per cent has been recorded till 1700 hrs for the bypolls on Madhupur seat of Jharkhand Assembly.
Voting on the seat will continue till 1800 hrs. A total of 3.21 lakh voters are eligible to vote in the elections.
The bypolls were necessitated following the demise of JMM legislator and cabinet minister Haji Hussain Ansari who had passed away on October 3, 2020.
