Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has created 11,292 posts of Nursing Officers to augment technical manpower
and provide better healthcare services in the state. It has been decided to fill up the newly-created posts in a phased manner. The government issued a direction on December 8 to the Director, Nursing for filing of requisition with OSSSC (Odisha SubOrdinate Staff Selection C o m m i s s i o n ) f o r recruitment of 7,413 Nursing Officers against the newlycreated posts. Thousands of aspiring c a n d i d a t e s w i t h degree/diploma in the course will benefit from these steps. Headquarters Hospitals and Medical Colleges and hospitals in the state will improve to a great extent.
