Twenty Afghan soldiers killed in clashes with Taliban : Reports

Kabul : At least 20 soldiers were killed and 20 others injured in clashes between the army and the Taliban militants at Ghor in central Afghanistan, local media reported on Saturday.

According to Tolo News, apart from soldier casualties, at least 10 more soldiers have been captured by the Taliban.

Tolak district has reportedly fallen to the militants following the clashes on Friday night. Taliban also claimed to have captured the Zare district on Saturday morning.

Reports claim that about 17 districts have fallen to Taliban militants during the past two months.
