The third annual festival of Swayam Shri Nritya Anushthan concluded

Angul,: The third annual festival of Swayam Shri Nritya Anushtan was celebrated with great pomp and show at DCI Club, Deulbeda, Talcher. This inaugural ceremony was organized under the chairmanship of former president Sumant Kumar Pradhan and under the guidance of Guru Shankar Bai and Sasmita Gayan. During this two-day festival, on the first evening, MCL Bhubaneshwari area, Aastha Mahila Mandal, President Mrs. Sangeeta Shriram, Shukla Mitra along with eminent dance guru Gauri Shankar Das, Padmashree Dr. Ileana Sitarist, Guru Gayatri Ranbir were present as chief guests, and on the second evening, eminent Odisha dancer Dr. Manoj Kumar Behera and keynote speaker senior journalist Dheer Mohan Rai and dance guru Ms. Meenakshi Behera, dancer Radheshyam Tarai, dancer Chinmayi Tripathi were present as chief guests and performed dances. During the program, many artists and members of Hargouri Kinnar Sangh of Kandhal region were honored with Talcher Kala Samman and were given certificates and with a momento a symbol proud and love.At the end of the program, the president of the institute Sanchita Ghosh gave a vote of thanks. During this, members of the institute Vantita Maharana, Asha Nayak, Shwetapadma Khuntia, Sucharita Maharana, Sasmita Barik, Basant Bhai Mallay Kumar Maharana, Rakesh Das, Mallay Barik and Sureshan Behera were present. Despite the severe cold, a large number of dance lovers enjoyed Odissi, Kuchipudi, Sambalpuri and other dances and praised Guru Shankar Bai.
