Paralakhemundi : Friday incident of attack on Smrutiranjan Satpathy, Tehsildar R Udayagiri; 2 SIs Mukesh Lakra & Hemant Sethi with 4 constables, by marriage party of Cheligada Christian street, who violated covid-19 norms & while administration cautioned them they vehemently attacked whole squad.
As a result all officials escaped for their self rescue & admitted at CHC R Udayagiri . Today led by SDPO Dilip Kumar Nayak & Mamta Nayak dashed to Cheligada for enquiry behind the incident, whole street seen chaos as no men’s land.
Since last night people of entire Christian street fled away. SDPO Nayak said,”Our action will be mandate against those culprits who attacked our squad. We will leave no stones whoever behind such violence”.
Sub Collector Sangramsekhar Panda also had his whirlwind tour to R Udayagiri & taken stock of post incident review at Cheligada from SDPO R Udayagiri & also visited hospital to see those injured Tehsildar & police staff & inquired on their health status.
