New Delhi: One Plus has launched in India ‘One Plus 9RT 5G’ smartphone that is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The smartphone, launched on January 14, has been priced at Rs 42,999 and Rs 46,999 for 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants respectively.
OnePlus 9RT sports a 6.62 inch E4 OLED flat display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, 397 PPI and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The phone runs OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 and is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery, which supports 65W fast charging.
According to the company, it takes 15 minutes to charge from 1 per cent to 65 per cent and can be fully charged in 29 minutes.
The device features a three-level heat dissipation system to keep it cool. It is also equipped with three wifi antennas instead of two, designed for adaptive switching. This makes it easier to uninterrupted reception and speed while gaming.
OnePlus 9RT houses a triple camera setup on the rear consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. It comes with a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor on the front for selfies and video calls.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone has 5G, dual-SIM, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GNSS (Global navigation satellite system) and USB Type-C (USB 2.0). It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos, and an alert slider.
OnePlus 9RT will be available in two colours – Hacker Black and Nano Silver colour. The smartphone will be available for purchase from January 17.
Oneplus also launched Buds Z2 true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds with active noise cancellation support. Priced at INR 4,999 they will also be available from January 17.
Oneplus Buds Z2 is the successor to the 2020 OnePlus Buds Z earphones. They are equipped with larger 11mm dynamic drivers as opposed to their predecessor that had 10mm drivers.
It features Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity and are equipped with three inbuilt microphones for calling and noise cancellation. In terms of dust and water resistance, the buds come with an IP55 rating, while the charging case has an IPX4 rating.
The earbuds run on 40mAh batteries while the charging case has a 520mAh battery. They offer up to 38 hours of battery life and plugging them in with Flash Charge for just 10 minutes can give you 5 hours of listening time.
