Mumbai, July 12 (Dumanimail) The BSE Sensex on Tuesday lost another 197 points at 54,197.93 as selling was seen in Materials, FMCG and Finance stocks.
The Nifty too declined 81.35 points at 16,134.65.
The Sensex registered days high and low at 54,230.69 and 54,054.47 points respectively.
The Nifty registered days high and low at 16,156.85 and 16,103.35 points respectively.
The Mid Cap rose by 0.22 per cent and Small Cap by 0.22 per cent.
In 30 scrips, 10 advanced while 20 declined.
The losers were Titan by 1.42 per cent to Rs 2128, HDFC by 1.17 per cent to Rs 2221.60, Tata Steel by 1.13 per cent to Rs 902.40, Bajaj Finserv by 1.11 per cent to Rs 11,800 and Tata Steel by 1.17 per cent to Rs 902.
The gainers were NTPC by 1.97 per cent to Rs 147.20, Bharti Airtel by 0.74 per cent to Rs 665.20, Dr Reddy’s Lab by 0.47 per cent to Rs 4524 and TCS. by 0.41 per cent to Rs 3126.
