Salman sings ‘Lag Jaa Gale’ in tribute to Lata Mangeshkar

Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan on Sunday paid tribute to legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar by singing her evergreen song ‘Lag Jaa Gale’. The sudden demise of the ‘Melody Queen of India’ has left a void in the music Industry. Dabangg Khan, who is a fan of revered singer, has shared a video on Instagram of himself singing ‘Lag Jaa Gale’ and remembering good old times with the singer. While sharing the video, he wrote “Never has been, never will be any1 like u Lataji….” ‘Lag Jaa Gale’ is one of the many remarkable songs sung by Lata Mangeshkar. The track is from the 1964 film ‘Woh Kaun Thi’. Commenting on Salman’s tribute, actor Sunil Grover said, “Sunder” along with a red heart emoji. Actor Tabu dropped a red heart emoji in the comments. Diana Penty posted a raising hands emoji. Fans have dropped appreciation for Salman’s singing. One of Dabangg Khan’s fans said, “Bhai kya khoob gaya hai”. The 92-year-old Melody Queen passed away on February 6 in Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital after being diagnosed with Covid-19 and pneumonia. Lata Mangeshkar was cremated at Shivaji Park on February 6 in Mumbai with full state honours.
