Hyderabad, Apr 14 (UNI) The total absorption or sales of luxury home units in Delhi NCR has increased by 54 per cent from 709 units in February 2020 to 1095 in February 2021, PropEquity, India’s largest online real estate data and analytics platform, said in its report which is released recently.
Not just in Delhi NCR, home sales increased in the top six cities in the country but also in Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, MMR & Pune, where it witnessed the rise in home sales by 13 per cent, 8 per cent, 7 percent , 37 percent and 12 percent respectively during the same period, the report stated.
Only Hyderabad witnessed 8 per cent downfall of sales from 1,455 units in February 2020 to 1,337 units in February 2021.
“Housing market has been improving over the last few quarters and our data has suggested that home sales will continue to see growth in 2021.
India is also undertaking the largest vaccine drive for COVID-19 and as we cover more and more population, we will witness a decent rise in demand,” said Samir Jasuja, Managing Director & Founder – PropEquity.
