Mumbai: The Rupee continued to slip for the third straight session on Thursday as it dropped 39 paise, breaching the 75 level to reach 75.16 against the greenback in early trade on rising demand for the US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said. Brewing tensions between Russia and NATO over Ukraine has impacted the market even even as rising crude oil prices too have had a negative impact on the market. Brent oil prices have already crossed the USD 90 per barrel mark. The local unit continued to fall owing to a firm Dollar against other world currencies amid tumbling down the stock market in the opening trade.
