Bhopal : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced on Thursday that the state dispensation would gift ‘samman nidhi’ of Rs 1 crore each to two players of the national men’s hockey team that won a historic bronze at the Tokyo Olympics.
“Vivek Sagar hails from Itarsi and Nilakanta Sharma (from Manipur) underwent training at the Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy,” the veteran leader said here during an interaction with members of the Fourth Estate.
