Kolkata : A record 100 per cent candidates have passed, an all-time high, as the results of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education – 2021- were announced on Tuesday, according to Board president Kalyanmoy Gangopadhyay.
Since the Covid-19 restriction across the state, there was no test nor any exam, resulting in no merit list of the candidates either for 2021.
Altogether the total candidates were 10 lakh 69 thousand 649. Of them 90 per cent of the candidates have passed in the first section.
However, 69 candidates were given first marks as they obtained a total of 696. However, no merit list is being published this time.
Last year the pass percentage was 86.34, whereas this time the pass percentage was exactly 100.
The students will be able to know the total grade and number along with the subject grade and number.
According to the Board of Secondary Education, today, mark sheets, certificates and admit cards will be distributed to the schools from the 49 camp offices of the board.
