[12:40 PM, 12/31/2024] Srimanchala Sir Dumani: Mumbai, Dec 31: Rashmika Mandanna, the star of Pushpa 2: The Rule, celebrated her eighth anniversary in the film industry on Tuesday, expressing heartfelt gratitude to her fans for their unwavering support.
The 28-year-old actor shared a thank-you note on her Instagram Stories, saying, “8 years in the film industry and the only way I could do what I have done so far is only because of your love and support. Thank you.”
Hailing from Kodagu district in Karnataka, Mandanna began her acting journey in 2016 with the Kannada film Kirik Party opposite Rakshit Shetty. She gained prominence with Telugu hits like Geetha Govindam, Dear Comrade, Bheeshma, and Sita Ramam.
Her nationwide breakthrough came with the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise, alongside Allu Arjun. She later ventured into Bollywood with Goodbye and further solidified her stardom with the hit Animal opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
Most recently, Pushpa 2: The Rule emerged as a global sensation, amassing over ₹1,700 crore since its December 5 release.
Mandanna’s upcoming projects include Sikandar with Salman Khan, Chhaava with Vicky Kaushal, and the Maddock horror-comedy Thama alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. She will also star in the Tamil film Kubera.
