Varanasi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Varanasi wherein he will be inaugurating the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor on Monday.
He is on his two-day visit to his parliamentary constituency. PM Modi was received by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries at the airport.
Ahead of his visit, PM tweeted “Tomorrow, 13th December is a landmark day. At a special programme in Kashi, the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham project will be inaugurated.
This will add to Kashi’s spiritual vibrancy. I would urge you all to join tomorrow’s programme.”
The PM will be offering prayers at Kaal Bhairav temple and Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi at around 12 pm and 1 pm, respectively. He will then inaugurate the Kashi Vishwanath Dham at around 1:20 pm.
Later in the evening at around 6 pm, Modi will witness ‘Ganga Aarti’ and then attend a cruise meeting on Ganga river.
On the second day of his visit, the PM will participate in a conclave of CMs of 12 BJP-ruled states along with Deputy CMs of Bihar and Nagaland.
