New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted people across the country on the occasion of Durga Ashtami.
“Wishing you all a very Happy Mahashtami.
On this holy day of Navratri, there is a law to worship Maa Mahagauri. May everyone’s life be illuminated with his blessings. A praise of Mata Mahagauri,” Modi tweeted.
The eighth day of the Hindu festival of Navratri is celebrated as Maha Ashtami, and on this day, devotees worship Goddess Mahagauri.
