PM Modi emplanes for Rome to attend G20 Summit

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday night left for Rome to participate in the G20 summit, and will proceed from there to Glasgow to attend the COP26 summit.

“PM @narendramodi emplanes for Italy to participate in the G20 Rome Summit, followed by the @COP26 Summit in Glasgow, UK,” the MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted.

PM Modi will be visiting Rome, Italy, and the Vatican City, from October 29-31, at the invitation of Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, the current chair of the G20. After that he will travel to Glasgow, United Kingdom, from November 1-2 at the invitation of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, for the COP26 summit.
