Bhubaneswar: Another low pressure area is forming in the Bay of Bengal. A cyclone will form in the Bay of Bengal in between 22nd to 24th July, due to the influence of the low pressure area. As a result, rainfall will increase again in Odisha from 23rd July – predicted the MeT department.As per the weather update, the low pressure area will
form in the areas adjacent to the North Bay of Bengal. Later, it may intensify further and turn into a depression. As the low pressure is expected to move west-northwestwards, it
will initially cause heavy rainfall in north Odisha. Later, as it will move towards Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. Hence, heavy rainfall is likely in the bordering Odisha districts and interior districts. The rainfall is expected to continue until July 26th, with the heaviest rainfall predicted on July 24th and 25th. When it comes to today’s weather
forecast, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in interior and southern Odisha today
