Odisha BJPAppeals to Make Pravasi Bharatiya Divas A Grand Success : Manmohan Samal

Bhubaneswar, :The Odisha BJP has called for a grand celebration of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. BJP State Unit President Manmohan Samal held a press conference today to share details regarding the event. Samal urged all Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), and party workers to give a warm welcome to NonResident Indians (NRIs) arriving at the Bhubaneswar airport. On January 7th and 8th, the BJP plans to organize cleanliness programs as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at various locations that will be visited by NRIs. The party will also conduct a padayatra across all districts of the state on these dates in honour of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas.Samal announced that the party would warmly welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the BPI airport on the evening of January 8th. He
appealed to the people of Odisha to come together and make Pravasi Bharatiya Divas a tremendous success.”This event aims to unite the 4.5 crore people of Odisha. I call upon the citizens and intellectuals of the state to step forward and welcome the NRIs. We should celebrate this three-day event as a festival,” said Samal.He emphasized that NRIs would experience the warm hospitality of the people of Odisha. “This occasion will be a turning point for our state,” he remarked, encouraging everyone to showcase various heritage and tourist destinations, cities, and villages to the NRIs.For the first time, Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is being organized in Bhubaneswar, and it is significant for overseas Indians from 160 countries to attend. Samal assured that hospitality would be prioritized, and efforts would be made to ensure that guests leave with positive experiences. He called for collaboration between the government and the public in this endeavour.”There are many tourist attractions in our state, and we will showcase them to our guests. We will celebrate this state festival for three days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present on January 8th, and President Droupadi Murmu will participate on January 10th,” he added.
