NIA raid underway at JKCCS office in Srinagar

Srinagar : The National Investigation Agency on Monday launched a raid at Jammu and Kashmir Coalition of Civil Societies’ office here, sources said.

The raid is underway at the Bund office near Amira Kadal bridge in Srinagar. Police and Central Reserve Poilce Force personnel are assisting the NIA in the searches.

The JKCCS has been documenting human rights violations Kashmir. In the past, the NIA had searched the residence of the group’s program coordinator.
