Naveen Felicitates Odisha’s Golden Gymnast Pranati Nayak

Bhubaneswar: ChiefMinister Naveen Patnaik onSunday felicitated Pranati Nayak,
the shining star of gymnastics,for her remarkableaccomplishments at the 37th
National Games, Goa.He presented her with a cashaward of Rs 23 lakh in recognition
of her brilliance at the Games. TheChief Minister also congratulatedthe Head Coach Ashok Mishra.
The talented gymnast secureda total of four gold medals andone silver medal, showcasing herexceptional dedication and talentin the world of gymnastics.Shining in Women’s Artistic
Gymnastics, Pranati Nayakbegan her campaign with acoveted gold in the All-round
event and followed it with goldsin the Vault event, Beams eventand Uneven Bars Apparatus. In
Floor Exercises, Nayak narrowlymissed the gold medal but stillfound her on the podium with a
silver medal.Chief Minister Naveen Patnaikexpressed his pride in Pranati’s
accomplishments and said,”Pranati Nayak’s achievementsare a testament to the talent that
we nurture in our state. She hasmade Odisha proud with heroutstanding performance at the National Games”. He also appreciated coach Ashok Mishra forplaying a significant role in the performance of the OdishaGymnastics team. The Chief Minister assured all support for Pranati
for upcoming competitions. Chairman 5T and Nabin Odisha VKPandian was also present on this occasion and congratulated them.He said, “The dedication of such coaches and athletes is an inspirationtowards transformation of sports in Odisha.” Pranati Nayak, anathlete of the Odisha AMNS/ India Gymnastics High-PerformanceCenter at Kalinga Stadium, has been under the guidance of her headcoach, Ashok Mishra. Her relentless pursuit of excellence and theguidance of her coach have been instrumental in her success. PranatiNayak and coach Ashok Mishra expressed their deepest gratitudeto the Chief Minister Patnaik and thanked Odisha for supportingand promoting gymnastics from the grassroots to elite level.
