Konark: According to reports, the Ritika Agency Pvt Ltd has been tasked by the Food Supply and Consumer Welfare Department of Konark NAC and the surrounding gram panchayats under the Konark Service Cooperative Society to procure paddy crops produced by farmers at government-set prices. Today at the Konark Service Cooperative Society premises, 15 farmers under the committee have sold their paddy crop to the government-appointed Ritika Agency at a government-fixed price. The opening of the mandi has caused a great deal of excitement in the palaces of the farmers under the committee. According to the agency in charge, the paddy will be harvested from the farmers in accordance with governmentapproved tokens in phases until March 31 next year.
